Career Girls

Career Girls equips girls with inspiration and resources to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, math, and beyond. We built and continue to expand the largest girl-focused online career knowledgebase-featuring 11,000+ videos with diverse women who are accomplished in their professions. We also designed complementary life skills lessons to help every girl around the world reach her full potential. The career insights on Career Girls' website have been viewed over 7.5 million times in 232 countries and territories. Support from GlobalGiving would allow us to put these resources into the hands of even more girls. Funding would support: -Engaging school staff: Hundreds of school counselors have expressed interest in our content in the past year alone; we need support to meet this demand. Career Girls will orient and train middle school counselors and teachers on our online knowledgebase-a win-win that will amplify our reach in schools while giving school educators high-quality resources to support their roles. -Organizing at least three Career Days: Career Days are opportunities for large numbers of middle school girls to meet women role models face-to-face in a fun school setting.
