The association is a non-profit charitable association whose received donations and surplus of revenue from the sale of various articles and other activities are solely for support to universal and non-profit activities worldwide by Mata Amritanandamayi Math (MA Math), which has advisory NGOs, status of the UN for universal activities in its local area. The Math's local area is primarily India and Sri Lanka, and it is headquartered in the state of Kerala, India. The items sold will for the most part be made in India and given to the association in commission, while some may also be made elsewhere in the world or locally in Denmark. The association's activities fall within the following areas: (a) to promote and support the following by M.A. Maths universal and non-profit activities worldwide: Construction and operation of hospitals, orphanages, hospices and nursing homes. Aid for housing and assistance to homeless people and victims of natural disasters. Distribution of pensions to poor widows and distribution of free food to the poor. b) to spread the knowledge of the work of Mata Amritanandamayi (also called Amma, who founded the Indian organization) to promote human and universal values in society and her messages to promote understanding and cooperation between people and between all religions of the world. c) To support similar charitable projects in Denmark performed by this association. Revenue for this must come from projects specially planned and advertised for this purpose or from donations given specifically for this purpose. All other income must go to M.A. Math in India. d) to arrange visits to Denmark by Mata Amritanandamayi (Amma) and her delegates.
